Time for another giveaway!
Did you know that over the past eight years, Cheerios has given away more than 40 million children´s books? They have also donated $3.2 million to First Book, their non-profit partner, which provides books to children from low-income families. The program is part of Cheerios´ ongoing commitment to helping parents provide their children with a healthy, nutritional and educational foundation.
Beginning this month, Cheerios is again bringing books to the breakfast table, by providing six million children´s books free inside Cheerios boxes. The books are for children ages 3 to 8 years old, and include a brand new book in the popular "Trucktown" series, available only inside Cheerios boxes. And for the first time, all five books have been specially printed in both English and Spanish.
What does this mean for you, my frugal friends? Well, Cheerios (and the folks over at MyBlogSparkTM) very generously gave our family a Spoonful of Stories gift pack (a big ole box of Cheerios, 5 fabulous storybooks, and a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble bookstore). And now they want to give one to 1 LUCKY READER, too!
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post answering this question: If you could be a character from a kid's story who would you be? And of course put your email address in the comment so I can contact you if you are the lucky winner.
Easy peasy!
The winner will be randomly chosen on Thursday, October 22nd. Good luck!

If I was a kids book character... it would have to be martha from martha speaks (was that a book? I think it was.) It would be awesome to be a talking dog. Hehe.
Maybe Hermione Granger...
I'd want to be a villager in the town of Itching Down where they make the Giant Jam Sandwich - one of my favorite stories!
I would be Daphne from Scooby Doo.

Hmmm...there are so many characters to be. I think I would like to be Betsy from the Betsy-Tacy books. I also love Anne of Green Gables, but I wouldn't want to be an orphan like she was at the beginning of the series.
Thanks for the giveaway! If I could be a character from a children's book, I'd be Lola from a Charlie and Lola book. I love that girl! Innocent, cute, funny and adorable accent...sounds like the perfect character to be!
...Lola from Charlie & Lola book...I forgot to give you my e-mail! jodi@whitsitt.net
I would love to be Cinderella. Well, Cinderella after she meets her prince charming and is a princess.
If I could be any character from a children's story book, I think I would like to be Peter Pan, nevermind the fact that I am female :) I often feel that I will never truly or completely grow up, so it would be fabulous to be Peter Pan and not have any expectation of growing up :)

Wendy from Peter Pan. What an adventure that would be!

I used to love all of the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary when I was younger. She was always a fun character always getting into something. :)
