Hi there, frugal friends! Vacay is over and so is my break from cooking. We had the pleasure of having our meals prepared by our hosts/best friends last week, which was a lovely break. Now it's back to business...

Thanks for stopping by my blog. My fiesta rice is something like this ( http://campbellskitchen.com/recipedetail.aspx?recipeID=25061 ). I've streamlined it--to save time and money, and to reduce the sodium content--by using plain water instead of canned chicken broth. And I use regular rice instead of Minute Rice. So ... I guess I just add some salsa to the rice while it cooks. :)

I've been wanting meatloaf. I keep trying to get into our menu plans but my daughter doesn't eat it.

How is the Carnation without sugar? I have always had it with sugar but this morning it just seemed sickeningly sweet to me. Thanks!!!!

Grilled cheese w/ tomato sounds wonderful. I may have to add that to my "menu" for next week. :)

Becca - The No Sugar Added Carnation is fab! I love it. It is just enough sweetness, because others I have tried are just overbearingly sweet for the a.m.

:)
