Good Monday Morning, my frugal friends! We have a house guest this week...here's a look at what we're serving up:

*Chicken salad on whole wheat, fruit
*Turkey and cheese on whole wheat, carrot sticks
*Grilled cheese, tomato soup
*Tuna salad on whole wheat, pickles
*PBJ, fruit
*Hot dogs, baked beans, s'mores
Dinners
*Refried bean soup, chips and salsa
*Creamy chicken burritos, Spanish rice
*Baked pancake with berries, bacon
*Baked ziti, meatballs
*Chicken parmigiana, spaghetti
*Zesty Onion Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn
Snacks
*Popcorn
*Chips and salsa
*Pretzels

Hi Niki, well before reading the menu today here's what I had:
Breakfast-egg white omelet and small cup of oatmeal
Lunch- cream of pumpkin soups and small salad with spinach leaves, chicken breast, salami bits, penne pasta, light dressing
Snack-slice of whole wheat bread with chunky peanut butter
Dinner--breaded, baked pork chops with brown rice and broccoli, glass of red wine.
So how did I do? I've been buying a lot of pork lately due to regular sales. Many people have misconception that with swine flu one can't eat pork--that's a myth! Pork industry is hurting so I'm doing my best to support them and save a few dollars too!
