If you're like me you may not want to put out the cold hard cash for the newspaper to be delivered. I know for me I would much rather read my news online and then not have to worry about finding someplace to store all that extra paper until recycle day comes (it's only every 2 weeks here). But then there is the issues of coupons. If there are good ones then I want in! So here is what I do:
On Saturday evening or early Sunday morning I head over to Keeping the Kingdom First and check out the coupon insert preview. If it sounds like a stellar week for coups I know I'll use then I will head on out to Dollar Tree to get my Sunday edition newspaper for just a buck. Maybe even 2 papers if there are a lot of high value coups. Remember you can always score extra coups by swapping your inserts with neighbors, friends, and family or checking out the coupon bin at your local library.
But at least you can count on the Kingdom First mom to give you a sneak peek to see if the newspaper is worth the buy!

I am way to cheap to buy the local paper when I compare it to the Houston paper. (At the same price the Houston paper is about 3 times as thick.) However most of the Houston paper doesn't apply to our area (we are about 130 miles north of Houston).
And since our local paper recently raised prices so it is more than the other paper . . .
If you only have one or two stores to go to, you can find their webpage and see their sale ads there. Also if you wait a bit, the newspaper can be bought cheaper. Our local sells the mon- sat at half price the day after and Sunday paper goes 1/2 price after the next Sunday.
Niki- I am SO glad you find my preview helpful! Thank you very much for the mention, I do appreciate it. You are wise to wait and see if the coupons are worth the purchase! By the way, this coming weekend should be a good one!
