It's Frugal Friday!
Today I am gonna continue to sing the praises of thrift stores, particularly Goodwill. I know, I know, I say it all the time. But my boy just had a growth spurt and the weather is turning so I wisked the two of us away to thrift heaven. After 2 hours of digging through racks and racks I found treasure. And boy, did I strike it big!
I left with 5 tops and 7 pairs of shorts (all new with tags from brands like Mossimo, Calvin Jeans, and Nike.) And a silver Oneida serving piece. For $30. At Goodwill it is not uncommon to find items new with tags because Target and other stores send off unsold merchandise there. And smart shoppers like me reap all the benefits of their generosity.
Thrift stores. Sweet deals.

Goodwill is great- I always find good toys there too
I just found your blog on Life as a Mom....My mom and I LOVE Goodwill and St. Vincent de Paul! You can get a LOT of really great things for almost nothing sometimes!
